1945年生于浙江宁波，1986年加入河南省美协，任济源市美协副主席，王屋山书画院院长。
作者创作扎根生活，擅长写意人物画，亦善绘画毛驴、猕猴等题材。
其作品在全国大展中获金奖，受到国画大师李可染、何家英的高度评价，并被四川乐山邮政用于印制邮票与明信片。
作品与事迹曾先后被中央电视台、河南电视台、成都电视台专题报道。
Born in 1945 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, the artist joined the Henan Artists Association in 1986 and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Jiyuan Artists Association and Director of the Wangwushan Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
His work is firmly rooted in everyday life; he excels in freehand figure painting and is also skilled at depicting donkeys, macaques and similar subjects.
His pieces have won gold prizes at national exhibitions and received high praise from masters of Chinese painting Li Keran and He Jiaying. Some of his works were used by Leshan Post (Sichuan) for stamps and postcards.
His art and career have been featured in special reports by China Central Television, Henan Television, and Chengdu Television.
